3E Lab cooperates with experts and specialists in the field of social research, evaluation, participation, and social policy and public policies.
Aneta Szarfenberg, a political scientist and social policy specialist. She completed her post-graduate studies in evaluation (2010) and urban regeneration (2016). For many years Aneta Szarfenberg cooperated with local governments in the area of creating development strategies, revitalization, developing cooperation with non-governmental organisations and conducting public consultations. She is a specialist in developing social diagnoses and qualitative research, and is an evaluator and researcher of social problems. Among others, she has been a member of the research team in the systemic project Human Capital Operational Programme 1.18 covering the creation of social service standards (2009-2014) and in 2014 she was a national expert within the PESSIS 2 research project carried out by the University of Greenwich. In 2012 Aneta Szarfenberg was a national expert cooperating with FEANTSA (the European federation of national organisations operating for the benefit of the homeless), and since 2016 she has been the Polish representative in the FEANTSA Working Group on Participation. In 2018 she was the national coordinator of the PEP (people experiencing poverty) group within the framework of the meetings of the European Anti-Poverty Network EAPN, as well as a long-standing collaborator of various non-governmental organizations in the country. Aneta Szarfenberg is a member of the Polish Evaluation Society and the Polish Social Policy Society, and a social activist.
Ryszard Szarfenberg holds a Ph.D. in Political Sciences, and is a Professor at the University of Warsaw in the Institute of Social Policy, and is Head of the Aid and Social Integration Department. He is an expert on the 2004-2010 National Strategy for Social Integration, and a national expert on the European Minimum Income Network. Ryszard Szarfenberg is also the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Polish Committee of the European Anti-Poverty Network and a member of the General Board of the Polish Social Policy Association. He serves on editorial boards of the “Library of Social Workers” and “Contemporary Social Policy” series and the “Problems of Social Policy” quarterly. He is also the author of numerous publications on social policy, public policy, social services, European and international social policy, poverty and social exclusion, as well as on social assistance.
Jolanta Woźnicka is the co-founder of the OPUS Association for the Promotion and Development of Civil Initiatives, and for over 15 years she has been involved in the non-governmental sector. She is an expert on local animation, funds and partnership building. Jolanta Woźnicka is a coordinator and expert in projects which introduce systemic changes in cooperation between the local government and non-governmental organizations (e.g. model of social consultations in Łódź), and is an active member of social dialogue bodies (e.g. civil dialogue committee for revitalization in Łódź). She also co-founded and coordinated the Social Animation Programme in Łódź and the concept of micro-activities implementation.
Sławomir Mandes holds Ph.D. in Sociology, head of the Department of Social Psychology at the Institute of Sociology of the University of Warsaw. Social program evaluator and researcher. Involved in a number of international specialist programs with which interesting staff are run, as well as in the organization of labor-intensive and specialist marketing services. He also conducted a series of evaluations of social programs. He cooperated with various governmental and external institutions (including the Foundation for the Development of Local Democracy, the “Monar” Association, the “Shipyard” Foundation).
